Are you a Production Manager with a background in contract manufacturing or NPI ready to take ownership of a large team and genuinely shape how a department operates?
On offer is a high-impact leadership role within a 30-year-established, globally operating manufacturer - growing fast, winning new contracts, and building out its US production capability. This is a role where you will have real influence over process improvement, team growth, and the long-term direction of the operation.
This company is a global contract manufacturer with production facilities across the USA and Germany, doing specialised work that sets them apart. They have been growing consistently, adding new contracts and capabilities - including building out a second shift - and they are looking for a leader who wants to be part of that story. In this role, you will take full ownership of a production floor of 50-60 people, with multiple team leads reporting directly into you. Day-to-day you will drive output, improve processes, and hold the team to a high standard - while being someone who isn't afraid to get on the floor and lead from the front. SAP will be central to how you manage production, and your NPI background will be put to immediate use as the business continues to grow and add new capabilities.
This role would suit a Production Manager from a contract manufacturing background who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to lead large teams, and wants to join a business at a genuinely exciting point in its growth.
The Role:
- Lead a production team of 50-60 people including multiple direct-report team leads
- Drive process improvement and operational excellence across a fast-growing manufacturing site
- Play a key part in the company's US expansion including second-shift build-out and capability growth
- 1st shift schedule - 6:00AM to 2:30PM, Monday to Friday
- Proven background in contract manufacturing or a closely related production environment
- NPI (New Product Introduction) experience with a hands-on, process-improvement mindset
- Looking to shape the future of this global manufacturer
