Overview
US Conec is seeking a proactive Audit Lead to direct workers engaged in auditing all production kits, performing the duties listed below.
Responsibilities- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet shipping schedules.
- Approve auditors' weekly timecards on time for payroll purposes.
- Examine audit work to ensure they meet acceptable quality level specifications.
- Train auditors on acceptable quality levels and quality inspection procedures.
- Adjust work assignments to complete higher‑priority work first.
- Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations.
- Complete hourly inspections of operator work to ensure quality standards and audit all completed work based upon written Acceptable Quality Level standards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Maintain the organization of the "Audit‑Out" shelving based on the shipping schedule.
- Collect and label weekly scrap with the corresponding week.
- Communicate quality issues or concerns and work with the Manufacturing Engineer, Production Leads, and Production Supervisors.
- Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
- Adjust work assignments to complete expedited or same‑day requests.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase the efficiency of the audit group.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving them.
- Inspect finished product and document dispositions.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Compile quality issues and add quality logs or reports.
- Cross‑train to the Special Operations lead position.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one‑year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and on‑the‑job experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in both spoken and written form.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
