Position: Product Support-2nd Shift (2-10pm) Warehouse-Stratoflex

Position Summary

Responsible for performing a variety of product support duties of moderate scope and complexity, including parts identification, shipping, receiving, warehouse, and related activities.

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions
  • Parts Identification – Identify parts using proper identification methods and equipment as indicated by the picklist or WIP, blueprint and/or customer requirements.
  • Shipping – Prepare parts and/or materials to ensure safe handling for shipment, complete necessary paperwork and shipping records, prepare packaging per specifications, interpret shipping instructions, mark shipments, prepare bills of lading and sales order forms, and contact carriers for dispatch, rates, or follow‑up.
  • Receiving / Warehouse – Receive shipments, weigh or count incoming/outbound parts, input data to update system records, verify documents for completeness and accuracy, check and identify parts, prepare parts for storage, pick parts from stock to fill orders, perform cycle inventory count, and maintain inventory locations in CICS.
Secondary Responsibilities / Non Essential Functions
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge and proficiency in assigned work and new assignments.
  • Assist in sub‑assembly area when required.
  • Observe all company policies, safety rules, and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Maintain a satisfactory high level of performance.
  • Participate in lean/continuous improvement initiatives and provide suggestions for improvement.
Qualifications (relevant experience, education and training)
  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of related product support experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
  • Ability to implement and effectively apply lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, goal setting, performance feedback, and self‑development.
  • Proficient in computer terminal operations and basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to read and understand written instructions, procedures, forms, and specifications.
  • For Parker employees, Powerlift (forklift) operator certificate from Stratoflex.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units).
  • May be required to operate moving and saw equipment and meet OSHA safety qualifications.
Typical Mental and Physical Demands

The position requires frequent movement inside the plant, operating computers, occasionally ascending or descending ladders to retrieve or store parts or materials, moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs, exposure to noise, dust, gas and fumes, and working near hazardous equipment or machinery.
