The Career Material Handler position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team‑minded individual who doesn’t stray away from a challenge. In this role, the Material Handler performs shop order‑picking and other activities associated with an assigned warehouse area. Utilizes the ERP system (BPCS/LX) to perform inventory transactions and inquiries, including the use of mobile barcode devices. Optimizes storage locations based on part velocity and volume policies.

• Acts as backup for multiple areas when required
• Operates mobile equipment, such as forklifts, man‑lifts, pallet jacks, to move material
• Assures that material counts are accurately reflected in the system and that material is stored according to defined policies and procedures
• Able to identify part types and methods of storage associated with assigned area
• Perform put‑away and picking functions utilizing BPCS barcode devices
• Maintains accurate stock counts, locations, and product IDs in assigned areas
• Rearrange material as directed for optimization
• Initiates and maintains all applicable paperwork as required
• Follows all safety rules and practices.

May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.

Performs other duties as assigned.

• Inventory optimization activities
• Conducting inventory accuracy audits & adjustments.
• Use of mobile devices to perform inventory transactions
• Performing inventory problem troubleshooting and correction

Minimum six months’ experience working in a team environment.

Experience in warehousing activities requiring a high level of precision and productivity.
