The Machine Operator I at S&S Activewear is a fast paced physically demanding position responsible for multiple tasks throughout the warehouse including the operation of different machinery such as the cherry picker and stock chaser for restocking, retrieving, and reviewing of inventory from both the floor locations and up‑stock storage areas. They are responsible for delivering product to the designated area for Pop Pick processing and/or shipment, as well as run quality control assessments on product prior to shipping.

$20.60 hourly

• Efficiently & accurately retrieve and stage product in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
• Operate machinery including the cherry picker, pallet jacks, and stock chasers. (requires certification)
• Follow & commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, & efficiency.
• Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages to supervisor.
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
• Follows all SOPs, safety rules, and regulations.
• Acts professionally and remains focused – contributing to a culture and environment focused on a safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned and be willing to cross train (may be required to do tasks that fall into warehouse associate 1 &
  2).

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
