Manufacturing Systems EngineerBuild the Future of Smart Manufacturing
At Dollamur, we don't just manufacture world‑class sports surfaces. We’re transforming the way we manufacture them.
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Systems Engineer who thrives on solving problems, building technology, and making operations better. This isn't a support role or a maintenance position. You'll own and expand our Tulip Manufacturing Execution System (MES), developing digital applications that improve production, quality, and visibility across our manufacturing operation.
If you're excited by automation, manufacturing technology, application development, and seeing your work directly impact the factory floor, we'd love to meet you.
What You’ll DoYou’ll be the technical owner of our Tulip MES platform, helping us continue our digital manufacturing journey.
- Design and build new Tulip applications that improve manufacturing and quality processes.
- Expand the MES platform by identifying new opportunities and bringing additional departments online.
- Connect machines and equipment using technologies like OPC-UA, MQTT, REST APIs, SQL, and Tulip Edge Devices.
- Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Operations to understand challenges and develop practical digital solutions.
- Build dashboards, reports, and data connections that give our teams real‑time visibility into production.
- Troubleshoot applications, improve existing workflows, and continuously enhance system performance.
- Train users and help drive adoption across the organization.
- Stay current on Tulip capabilities and emerging manufacturing technologies to keep our operation moving forward.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building, improving, and figuring things out. The ideal candidate is:
- Naturally curious and enjoys solving complex technical problems.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments.
- Able to translate operational needs into simple, effective technology solutions.
- Excited by manufacturing technology and continuous improvement.
- Someone who takes ownership and enjoys creating systems that scale.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4+ years of experience developing applications, software, automation, or digital workflows.
- Experience with Tulip is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in similar low‑code platforms are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, SQL, OPC-UA, MQTT, or industrial connectivity is a plus.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with operators, engineers, and business leaders.
At Dollamur, you’ll have the opportunity to build something that matters. This role offers:
- Ownership of an expanding Manufacturing Execution System.
- The opportunity to influence how technology is used throughout our manufacturing operation.
- A collaborative engineering and operations team that values innovation.
- Real visibility into the impact of your work.
- Opportunities to grow as our digital manufacturing capabilities continue to expand.
If you’re someone who likes building technology that people actually use, solving real manufacturing problems, and making a measurable impact every day, we’d love to talk.
Dollamur understands the importance of culture and benefits in the workplace. We consistently strive to offer a competitive benefits package including full benefits offering along with associate engagement events. If you’re looking for a career with a stable and thriving company that leads the industry in quality, culture, and product, you’ve found that at Dollamur Sport Surfaces.
