Job Summary:

We are seeking a Weld Cell Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating robotic weld cell machines, ensuring high-quality welded components, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Weld Cell Operator plays a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards while contributing to our culture of teamwork and innovation.

Primary job responsibilities include:

Operate, program and maintain robotic welding machines, including charting machine performance and administering routine checks/maintenance

Read and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings

Plan sequences of operation to achieve optimal precision and tolerances

Prepare raw materials for production, ensuring material quality prior to production sequence

Adhere to all standards of quality and safety

Minimum Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working with robotic weld cells

Knowlege of loading and unloading parts on jigs and fixtures

Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills

Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in manufacturing or metalworking environmentA desire to learn new technologies and motivation to go above and beyond minimum requirements

Basic welding background

Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles

Physical Demands:

Almost continual standing or walking

Occasional kneeling, bending, and manual dexterity with hands

Considerable lifting and moving of parts and materials

Moderate to considerable focusing of eyes to view electronic control screens

Working Conditions:

Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment with seasonal temperature changes
