Job Overview
Manufacturing Engineer Hourly Technician to join the LEAN team at our Fort Worth, TX site. The role is on‑site, hour shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, hourly rate $25.00 - $35.75. You will drive continuous improvement across the production floor, set up equipment, optimize layouts, and reduce waste using LEAN methodologies.
Responsibilities- Drive continuous improvement across the entire production floor.
- Assist with setting up equipment and optimizing layouts.
- Reduce waste using LEAN methodologies.
- Support and lead Lean initiatives, training and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to the design of efficient layouts and material flows to optimize productivity.
- Develop standards and work instructions to ensure consistency in production processes.
- Conduct problem investigations, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and follow‑up.
- Assist with the set‑up of production lines and processes, including hands‑on activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, contractors, and suppliers from project implementation.
- Perform other related tasks as advised by supervision.
- 2+ years in a manufacturing facility.
- Familiarity with basic Lean principles (6S, 7 Waste, Kaizen, Problem Solving).
- Proficient in hand and power tools for installation of electro‑mechanical equipment.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Two‑year technical degree or equivalent.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and deliver trainings.
- 4+ years supporting manufacturing in a technical role.
- Experience safely operating powered industrial vehicles.
- Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD or similar software applications.
- SAP knowledge or equivalent ERP systems.
- Demonstrating curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
- Taking ownership of tasks and proactively seeking improvement opportunities.
- Supporting or leading Lean initiatives, training and continuous improvement activities.
- Contributing to the design of efficient layouts and material flows to optimize productivity.
- Developing standards and work instructions to ensure consistency in production processes.
- Conducting problem investigations, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and follow‑up.
- Assisting with the set‑up of production lines and processes, including hands‑on activities.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.75 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
