Job Overview

Manufacturing Engineer Hourly Technician to join the LEAN team at our Fort Worth, TX site. The role is on‑site, hour shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, hourly rate $25.00 - $35.75. You will drive continuous improvement across the production floor, set up equipment, optimize layouts, and reduce waste using LEAN methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvement across the entire production floor.
  • Assist with setting up equipment and optimizing layouts.
  • Reduce waste using LEAN methodologies.
  • Support and lead Lean initiatives, training and continuous improvement activities.
  • Contribute to the design of efficient layouts and material flows to optimize productivity.
  • Develop standards and work instructions to ensure consistency in production processes.
  • Conduct problem investigations, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and follow‑up.
  • Assist with the set‑up of production lines and processes, including hands‑on activities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, contractors, and suppliers from project implementation.
  • Perform other related tasks as advised by supervision.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years in a manufacturing facility.
  • Familiarity with basic Lean principles (6S, 7 Waste, Kaizen, Problem Solving).
  • Proficient in hand and power tools for installation of electro‑mechanical equipment.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two‑year technical degree or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and deliver trainings.
  • 4+ years supporting manufacturing in a technical role.
  • Experience safely operating powered industrial vehicles.
  • Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD or similar software applications.
  • SAP knowledge or equivalent ERP systems.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.75 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
