Overview

US Conec is seeking a hands‑on Operations Supervisor to supervise employees in the manufacturing and production environment: plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Plans, directs, coordinates, and controls activities of workers assigned to non‑assembly groups.

Responsibilities
  • Manages warehouse operations, including inventory control, material flow, and storage organization to support production needs.
  • Oversees cycle counting processes to ensure inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and drive corrective actions.
  • Leads picking and kitting operations to ensure timely and accurate material delivery to the production floor.
  • Directs audit team activities to ensure adherence to standard processes, quality requirements, and proper documentation.
  • Ensures alignment of Audit, Kitting, and Assembly workflows to maintain efficient process flow and meet the Shipping Schedule.
  • Drives execution against the Shipping Schedule by coordinating cross‑functional teams and resolving constraints impacting on‑time delivery.
  • Manages automation operations, including performance monitoring, uptime tracking, and coordination of support resources.
  • Partners with Engineering and Technicians to troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitates clear and consistent production communication between Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
  • Monitors automated and manual production processes to ensure optimal throughput, efficiency, and adherence to standards.
Must Haves
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to supervise and guide 50–100 production employees.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and timekeeping systems.
  • Clear communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Commitment to safety, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement.
