Forklift Operator

General Summary

Best Maid Products is in need of a skilled forklift operator to work in a fast-paced food production facility.

Forklift Operators are responsible for maintaining a clean, professional, and safe working environment. Team members in this position will gather, stage, and load various products on and off trucks utilizing hand scanners and entering data into the computer. They must also ensure that orders are gathered and completed promptly.

• Must obey all OSHA, FDA, HACCP, and plant regulations/guidelines.
• Required to comply with company-outlined Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Accountable for loading and unloading materials onto or from trucks by forklift as required.
• Required to follow all GMPs that have been outlined by the company.
• Responsible for ensuring that all items are properly scanned and documented before transportation.
• Responsible for Food Safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a forklift operator
• Shipping and receiving experience is a plus
• Computer skills and hand scanners.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
