The F-35 is designed with the entire battlespace in mind, bringing new flexibility and capability to the United States and its allies. This position supports the production team on a squadron of F-35s, focusing on eliminating production constraints, improving manufacturing processes, and reducing scrap, rework, and repair costs.
Shift3rd Shift.
Schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
- Perform floor support to solve immediate production constraints.
- Develop corrective actions to improve the production system, reducing scrap, rework, and repair (SRR) cost and hours per unit.
- Update the manufacturing plan.
- Perform manufacturing evaluations of engineering changes.
- Perform QAR corrective action.
- Create cost reduction initiatives.
- Execute other manufacturing engineering standard work (tool trial runs, work‑around plans, etc.).
- 3 day weekends every weekend.

Security ClearanceMust be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Clearance Level: Secret.
Basic Qualifications- Experience with CATIA V5 or similar 3D modeling software.
- Experience reading engineering blueprints or tool designs.
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing.
- Experience in aeronautics or missiles and fire control.
- Root cause analysis experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
- B.S./M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering or related field with 5+ years’ experience (or 3+ with a master’s).
- Experience working in a union environment.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of F‑35 production line practices and requirements.
- Knowledge of aircraft structures and/or systems installation (hydraulics/harness) procedures and requirements.
