Primary Responsibilities- Ensure parts are moved through work centers with emphasis on working to a list of targeted items by schedulers.
- Verify paperwork and part location in Work In Progress (WIP).
- Interface with warehouse on job shortages.
- Support schedulers with work center data clean-up.
- Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Identify and transport goods and materials to work centers specified on preprinted routing documents and as directed by management personnel.
- Responsible for the organization of storage racks as required to support production requirements.
- Perform part verification for all projects using Engineered BOMs.
- Communicate with Supervisors and Planners for project part shortages.
- Operate cranes, hoists, and forklifts safely and responsibly.
- Consistently work in a manner to maintain quality of workmanship and product.
Education & Experience
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience with competent skills in Excel preferred.
- Experience in material coordination is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials.
- Experience using manufacturing database or spreadsheet/word processor applications.
- Ability to interact with other departments and customers.
- Safety conscious.
- Willing to input process improvements.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Desire to apply what is needed to complete assigned projects promptly with attention to detail.
