Hourly Rate

$19 per hour

Blasting and Coatings Worker works under general supervision of the Production Lead and or Supervision.

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to read and write (Bi-Lingual Spanish is an asset).
• Ability to inspect product to determine compliance with the drawings and the Companies standard inspection and quality standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate to others drawing and specification requirements.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of manufacturing equipment utilized in the fabrication of structural steel.
• Ability to become certified in those pieces of equipment or tools where required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions on the use of appropriate tools and applications techniques.

• Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre-employment physical examination/medical history check.

• Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noises.
• Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds.
• Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and that will include the use of protective equipment.
