Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production and schedule completion within a department
- Oversee a staff of hourly team members and manage labor utilization.
- Maintain accurate records of performance, production, and downtime events.
- Continuously work to improve production efficiencies and reduce labor cost.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in production records.
- Lead and supervise a team of production staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Foster a culture of safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Generate and analyze production reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to internal and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, and/or Business is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum 2 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position is preferred.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
- Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles.
- Ability to read and/or understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English required.
