Production Manager
Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift
Location:
Fort Worth, TX (new facility).
- Key driver of daily production related processes and hub of information transfer between hourly assembly workforce, management, engineering, quality control, purchasing, and planning.
- Improve safety for all personnel working in and around the production line; drive efforts and initiatives to reduce production errors, improve product quality, and increase efficiency.
- Handle production schedule, assign personnel to work areas, supervise progress, coordinate and document training of personnel, drive continuous improvement projects, and conduct annual employee performance evaluations.
- Maintain working relationships with local union by following the collective bargaining agreement.
- Support digitalization efforts to implement tools such as Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, Performance/Status Dashboards, and other connecting tools.
- 2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing environment.
- Project Management experience; strong leadership and time management skills; understanding of management approaches for work direction, motivation, talent development, and performance management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
