Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler I to manage and transport materials to production, ensuring efficiency and accuracy within our operations. The ideal candidate will handle incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain inventory, and assist in maintaining an organized and safe work environment. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely load, unload, and move materials either manually or with the use of pallet jacks or other equipment.
  • Pack, label, and prepare products and materials for shipment according to company standards.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory movement, updates, and stock levels to maintain transparency and efficiency.
  • Organize and stock materials in the designated areas, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
  • Deliver materials or products to appropriate production areas or departments as needed.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow across operations.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory checks to help maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
  • High school level diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Basic math and computer literacy skills, including experience with inventory systems or scanners.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Working Conditions
  • Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing production or warehouse setting.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels, machinery, and tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
