Machine Operator

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Inspect work pieces for defects and measure them to verify accuracy of machine operation using rules, templates, and other measuring instruments;
Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications, tooling instructions, and to plan the sequence of operations;
Set up and operate machines such as lathes, cutters, shears, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and auxiliary machines to produce metallic and plastic work pieces;
Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs and adjustments to machines and promptly notify supervisors when major service is required;
Carry out minor machine maintenance including oiling and cleaning machines, dies, and work pieces, and adding coolant to machine reservoirs
