Manufacturing Engineer – Operations Team (Manufacturing Processing Unit)
We are seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to join our Operations team. In this role you will plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes within the plant, address production issues to ensure products meet specifications, and optimize efficiency by evaluating equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods and workforce utilization. You will also determine the tools, equipment and components required to meet manufacturing objectives based on product requirements.
Responsibilities- Develop assembly instructions for new products to support quality and efficient inspection processes.
- Provide accurate and timely piece‑rate estimates for both existing and new products.
- Analyze and document time, motion, and production methods to establish standard rates and improve operational efficiency.
- Drive process improvements and suggest changes to optimize cost and pricing strategies.
- Partner with customers and engineering teams on product design and tooling to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors to establish part specifications and advise on equipment and material procurement.
- Create equipment specifications, performance requirements, cost analyses and proposals for integrating machinery into production.
- Prepare detailed quotes for fixtures, tooling and engineering needs to support customer proposals.
- Coordinate all aspects of projects, including tool and fixture design, CNC programming, machine setup, testing and production rollout.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including drawings, setup instructions and operational procedures.
- Test and validate machine capabilities to ensure they meet required performance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
