Position
Assembler B – Responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of finished water heater products.
LocationFull‑time, onsite at Fort Worth, Texas.
Responsibilities- Assemble and test commercial water heaters and burners using hand and light portable power tools, tape measures, and measuring devices such as torque wrenches.
- Troubleshoot any abnormalities that may occur during manufacturing or assembly.
- Read, understand and follow assembly instructions, and utilize gas analyzer equipment for testing.
- Adapt to new requirements or processes as they arise.
- Inspect parts and finished products for quality, reporting defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow standard operating procedures.
- Perform day‑to‑day functions including 5S housekeeping, participation in required safety training, and power‑tool and hand‑tool usage training.
- Assist other team members when needed, remain flexible and able to perform other duties as required.
- Assume responsibility for additional projects or duties assigned by the Value Stream Supervisor or company management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Basic mathematical and computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical assembly, electrical wiring, hydro testing, plumbing, set‑up, insulation, and fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for wiring and plumbing instructions, Bill of Materials (BOM), and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
- Successful establishment of employment eligibility and satisfactory completion of background checks and pre‑employment testing.
The role requires working on‑site in a manufacturing facility. Scheduled work hours will be communicated by the manager.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to move around the manufacturing floor.
- Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
