Position: Fabrication Operator I - Painter (2nd Shift)

Fabrication Operator I - 2nd Shift

Shift: 2nd Shift

Hourly Rate: $18.89 - $25.62 (+ 5% shift differential)

Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English Language.
  • Capability to reach, grasp, lift 75 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material.
  • Proficiency in coordinating movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
  • Flexibility to be able to stoop, bend, and squat.
  • Mechanical proficiency and skill along with computer competency and willingness to operate industrial machinery.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Prior experience as a foreman or warehouse trainer.
  • Experience with powder coating processes, including surface preparation, application techniques, curing procedures, and quality inspection.
  • Knowledge of powder coating equipment operation, maintenance, and safety practices.
Responsibilities
  • Setting up and operating machinery to ensure flawless production processes.
  • Programming parts, conducting quality checks, and reading blueprints.
  • Performing powder coating operations, including surface preparation, powder application, curing, and quality inspections to ensure a durable, high-quality finish.
  • Assisting in finishing operations, including drilling, tapping, and deburring.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and light repairs on processing equipment.
  • Organizing, identifying, and verifying counts of materials in collaboration with Purchasing and Shipping departments.
  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas and supporting additional duties as assigned by supervision.
