Your Opportunity

Taylor Corporation is looking for a 2nd Shift Digital Print Operator to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you will operate digital print equipment, including Canon Color Stream 3900 and Xerox equipment, while supporting production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements. This is a great opportunity for an experienced digital print operator who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Review job orders to determine quantities to be printed, paper specifications, colors, and special printing instructions for customers.
  • Operate Canon Color Stream 3900, Xerox, and other digital print equipment.
  • Collect and inspect random samples during print runs to identify any adjustments needed.
  • Identify and complete orders of all sizes and levels of importance.
  • Multitask and operate multiple machines as needed.
  • Complete required paperwork and production documentation for each job.
  • Ensure supplies are stocked and gather the correct materials needed for production.
  • Learn digital printing equipment processes and basic troubleshooting.
  • Follow quality and training expectations as stated under ISO 9001 certification.
  • Load and unload paper stock and set up print files.
  • Meet standard throughput speed and quality expectations.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Your Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday night through Friday night, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedule.

You Must Have:

  • Three or more years of digital print experience.
  • Three or more years of experience running cutsheet toner and inkjet printers.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to open, close, and print files.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach.
  • Basic measuring skills, including the ability to read a ruler and other measurement devices.
  • Basic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly to ensure accuracy and understanding of job tickets.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 40-50 pounds and stand for an entire shift, excluding breaks.

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materials.
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility.
  • Regularly move up to 40-50 pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Ability to work with very close tolerances.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good color discernment.
