Junior Watch Technician

The Junior Watch Technician is responsible for modifying, assembling, repairing, and customizing watches according to client specifications and company quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with small components and specialized tools in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates accuracy, patience, and a willingness to learn watch customization and repair processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare watches for the customization process, including removing or adding links to watch bands based on customer specifications.
  • Replace watch bands, batteries, and other basic watch components using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Assist with disassembly and reassembly of watches during customization and repair processes.
  • Inspect completed products to ensure quality, functionality, and accuracy prior to shipment.
  • Maintain accurate tracking logs, production records, and reporting documentation.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while meeting productivity standards and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and properly care for tools and equipment.
  • Support additional operational or departmental tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience and/or training preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience disassembling and reassembling watches preferred.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, follow detailed procedures, and meet deadlines in a production environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn watch customization and repair techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Regularly required to sit and use hands and fingers to handle small objects, tools, and components.
