Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking an experienced Lean Manager to help build and scale a brand-new manufacturing plant for a growing organization. In this high-impact role, you will partner with operational and administrative teams to establish a culture of continuous improvement and drive the path to operational excellence from the ground up.

What you’ll do
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across shop floor and office environments, from identifying opportunities through implementation and long-term sustainability.
  • Implement and sustain shop floor and office management practices in close collaboration with global and local Lean teams.
  • Deliver training, coaching, and hands-on facilitation in Lean leadership, process optimization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Use data and KPIs to track performance, present insights, and influence decisions with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to redesign processes, eliminate non-value-added activities, and embed standardized, scalable ways of working as the plant grows.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, industrial engineering and management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment leading change, projects, and continuous improvement, ideally in a manufacturing or plant setting.
  • Proven experience with shop floor management and KPI cascading.
  • Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, process redesign, and operational excellence; PMP or Lean Six Sigma Belt preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver impactful training sessions and workshops.
Key skills and attributes
  • Advanced communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative, hands-on leadership style, with the ability to build strong partnerships across functions and levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, with the presence to influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
  • Coaching or train-the-trainer credentials are a plus.
  • German language skills are a plus but not required.
