2nd Shift Assistant Machine Operator

• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately
• Work in compliance with GMP and company standards

• Perform product checks in accordance with SOPs
• Measure counts, weights, and dimensions to ensure product meets specifications
• Inspect seals, packaging, and print quality for accuracy and defects

• Pack and stack product accurately according to specifications
• Monitor production lines to maintain quality and efficiency
• Calculate production rates (bags per minute)
• Verify labeling, coding, and product information accuracy

• Assist with machine setup and changeovers
• Perform roll changes and basic machine adjustments
• Identify issues, safely stop equipment if needed, and escalte concerns
• Perform minor preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements and counts
• Mechanical curiosity and willingness to learn equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
• Good communication skills and a proactive mindset
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 years of related experience preferred (or equivalent on-the-job training)
• Ability to read and understand English for SOP compliance

• Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to push/pull up to 75–100 lbs (with equipment assistance)
• Frequent reaching, handling, and visual inspection tasks
