Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role is a full-time, on-site position located in Fort Worth, TX. The CNC Machinist will set up and operate CNC machines to produce machined and sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling, loading and adjusting machine programs, and performing test runs to verify accuracy.

The role also involves monitoring equipment during production, inspecting parts, documenting measurements, and collaborating with supervisors or engineers to resolve machining issues. The CNC Machinist will help maintain a safe work area, perform routine machine maintenance, and follow established quality and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate CNC machinery with proficiency in machine operation and general machining practices.
  • Experience with milling processes, including setting up and running milling operations for precision sheet metal components.
  • Strong focus on quality control, including inspecting parts, using measurement tools, and following ISO-compliant procedures.
  • Knowledge of industrial machinery, including basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operating practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming adjustments and machining parameters is preferred.
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Prior experience as a CNC Machinist or in metal fabrication; vocational training or relevant certification in machining is a plus.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, punctuality, and reliable attendance.
