CNC Lathe Machinist
As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will set up and operate vertical lathe machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, and milling. You will handle part completion operations, optimize set-up times, and maximize machine utilization.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC equipment to complete full cycles for high and low volume part production.
- Read and interpret blueprints and route instructions to understand task specifications.
- Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot programs and make necessary adjustments to maintain precision.
- Inspect parts with a high degree of precision and follow the in-process part inspection process.
- Communicate with managers, programmers, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues.
- Proficient in operating lathe machines, with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including performing setups.
- Experience with 3-axis machines required; experience with 5-axis machines is a plus.
- Familiarity with G Code programming.
- Ability to use calipers and gauges for measurement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with brands such as Brother, Doosan, Takumi, and Siemens is preferred but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
