Description:
Stride Staffing has partnered with a growing Fort Worth facility for Production Assemblers. Responsibilities include light industrial assembly, packaging, and electronic wiring using various machines and hand/power tools, and material handling equipment.
- Safely operate machines including powered tools and robotics
- Read and execute work instructions to ensure correct product, size, quantity, color, etc.
- Monitor machine operation to detect problems or malfunctions
- Follow standard operating procedures consistently
- Identify and communicate delays or problems affecting on-time completion
- Maintain neat, clean, and orderly work area
- Practice lean principles
- Follow preventative maintenance procedures
- Comply with safety standards
- Maintain internal productivity logs as required
- Other tasks as needed to support business needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good verbal and written communication
- Basic computer skills with ability to learn new software
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to perform quality work under tight deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; sit/stand for full shift; frequent bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, carrying, and squatting
- Dependable, self-starter, and able to work as part of a team
