Republic DFW is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support precision machining and manufacturing production. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs that support accurate, efficient, and repeatable machining. The ideal candidate has strong CNC programming experience, understands tooling and machining processes, and can work with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to improve production results.
Republic DFW is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support precision machining and manufacturing production. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs that support accurate, efficient, and repeatable machining. The ideal candidate has strong CNC programming experience, understands tooling and machining processes, and can work with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to improve production results.
Responsibilities- Create CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis mills and lathes as needed.
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, tolerances, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
- Select tools, define tool paths, speeds, feeds, offsets, and cutting strategies.
- Build and maintain post processors, program libraries, and documentation.
- Verify and optimize programs using simulation software and shop-floor testing.
- Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot cycle time, quality, tooling, and machining issues.
- Support continuous improvement, production efficiency, and manufacturing quality.
- 2-5 years CNC programming experience preferred.
- Mastercam experience preferred;
Solid Works, Fusion, or similar CAM software is helpful. - Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, machining principles, and Fanuc-style controls.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering models.
- Experience with tooling, materials, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
