Job Duties
- Run CNC machines from start to finish - setup, operation, inspection.
- Read blueprints and adjust programs to meet exact tolerances.
- Inspect work using micrometers and calipers.
- Keep your station organized and the workflow steady.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and ability to pass a pre-employment technical assessment.
- 1+ year of CNC machining experience, including using blueprints and manufacturing instructions to produce parts.
- Must meet physical requirements such as lifting 40 pounds and using tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Adherence to safety standards, quality inspection responsibilities, and compliance with personal protective equipment requirements are mandatory.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, in a tobacco-free environment.

What You Will DoAs a CNC Machinist you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures.
The CNC Machinist helps transform engineering designs into finished precision components using CNC machining technology. This position requires mechanical aptitude, technical skill, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Successful CNC Machinist professionals understand machining processes, dimensional tolerances, tooling selection, and inspection procedures while maintaining efficient production and quality standards. Strong analytical thinking supports effective troubleshooting and process improvement.
