Pride Staff, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Welder/Fabricator for a premier, high-quality specialized manufacturing facility in the local area. This is a fantastic Temp-to-Hire opportunity to join a stable team that values quality craftsmanship and a strong work ethic.

The Industrial Welder/Fabricator is responsible for fitting and welding non-pressure piping systems within a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical blueprints skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Weld and fit up non-pressure piping systems according to technical specifications.
- Interpret drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to accurately determine weld placement and specifications.
- Ensure all welds meet strict quality standards; follow heat specifications to maintain the structural integrity of the welds.
- Maintain assigned welding equipment, machinery, and workspace to ensure a safe, efficient environment.
- Efficiently identify, repair, and perform necessary rework on components when required.
- Utilize grinders and other hand/power tools to prepare and finish welded surfaces.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Maintain excellent daily attendance and follow operational directions closely.
- 5+ years of dedicated welding experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Proficient in reading standard tape measures and executing precise layouts.
- Strong, proven understanding of structural/weld symbols and fit-up procedures.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs. frequently throughout the shift.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
