Looking for Welder jobs in Fort Worth where precision welding and craftsmanship make a difference? This opportunity lets you fabricate and weld high-quality metal components while supporting safe, efficient manufacturing and production operations.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited welding program with 1+ year of welding experience, or 3+ years of professional industrial, manufacturing, construction, or fabrication welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, manufacturing instructions, and technical drawings.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must successfully pass AWS D1.1 welding qualification testing.
Experience Requirements
  • Proficient in FCAW (Flux Core), GMAW (MIG), and SMAW (Stick) welding processes.
  • Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, plate, pipe, and structural components.
  • Ability to perform flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead welds to quality standards.
  • Forklift, crane, tugger, or material-handling equipment experience preferred.
  • Strong safety mindset with knowledge of manufacturing, welding, and PPE requirements.
  • Experience with fabrication, assembly, grinding, finishing, leak testing, plasma cutting, and air arc cutting preferred.
  • Additional experience with GTAW (TIG), SAW, CJP welds, and AWS D15.1 standards is a plus.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet and climbing ladders when required.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Must wear required PPE, including welding hoods, respirators, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and protective clothing.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and a 2nd shift schedule as needed.
Job Duties
  • Perform FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW welding in all positions while meeting AWS and company quality standards.
  • Fabricate, assemble, fit, and align metal components, weldments, and structural assemblies.
  • Grind, sand, finish, blend, and repair welds to required specifications.
  • Conduct leak testing, pressure testing, inspections, and weld repairs as needed.
  • Operate plasma cutters, air arc equipment, cranes, forklifts, and fabrication tools safely.
  • Install piping, wiring harnesses, plumbing components, and perform basic assembly tasks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing process enhancements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment while serving as an in-process quality inspector.

What You Will Do

As a Welder you will perform TIG welding on fabricated components, interpret blueprints and welding specifications, prepare materials, inspect completed welds, operate fabrication equipment, verify measurements, maintain welding equipment, and support safe, accurate, and efficient manufacturing operations while producing high-quality finished products.
