Operational Excellence Manager

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a renowned global nonprofit organization committed to relief, development, and peace initiatives, is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager for our Printing Media division. This role is pivotal in enhancing our manufacturing processes, ensuring operational efficiency, and contributing to our mission by optimizing the production of printed educational and promotional materials. Holding a strategic position at MCC, the Operational Excellence Manager will lead initiatives to improve productivity and quality, reduce costs, and streamline operations.

The ideal candidate will blend strong industry knowledge with a passion for humanitarian efforts, leveraging skills in process improvement to make a significant impact on MCC's development projects worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement continuous improvement programs, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for efficiency gains and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that production schedules meet delivery targets and quality standards.
• Lead training sessions and workshops to elevate team performance and knowledge in operational best practices.
• Manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies as needed to improve throughput and quality.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental, health, and safety regulations.
