Material Handler
The Material Handler is a member of the Keg Team within the Liquids Department. This position is responsible for unloading incoming keg shipments, emptying outdated liquids from received kegs, moving materials throughout the facility, and performing general labor duties. The Material Handler plays an important role in the safe and efficient processing of kegs while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
What you'll do:
- Unload kegs from incoming trucks and trailers.
- Empty outdated liquids from received kegs following established procedures.
- Move kegs and materials throughout the facility using appropriate equipment.
- Sort, stage, stack, and organize kegs for processing.
- Inspect kegs for visible damage and report concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with cleanup activities and other general labor duties as needed.
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow directions and work safely.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely handle and move kegs and related materials.
- Industrial processing environment within the Liquids Department.
- Exposure to noise, equipment traffic, liquids, and varying weather conditions.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
