MIG Welder

We're hiring MIG Welders for a growing fabrication shop in Fort Worth, TX. This is a great opportunity for welders with at least 1 year of experience who want steady hours, weekly pay, and overtime potential.

You'll be welding mild steel using.
035 hard wire, working from blueprints and weld symbols, setting up your own machine, fitting your own parts, and producing high-quality welds in a fabrication environment.

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Employees typically work extended shifts and should be available for overtime, schedule adjustments, and occasional weekend work based on production needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding using.
  035 hard wire
• Weld mild steel ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" thick, with occasional projects up to 1"
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• Set up welding machines, including voltage and amperage adjustments
• Fit up and align parts using fixtures and jigs
• Produce clean, smooth welds that meet quality standards
• Verify dimensions using measuring tools
• Follow shop safety and quality procedures

• At least 1 year of MIG welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Experience setting up your own welding machine
• Ability to fit and prepare parts for welding
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Fabrication shop welding
• FCAW / Flux Core welding
• Manufacturing or production environment experience

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Pay is based on welding ability, fabrication experience, blueprint reading skills, and overall qualifications.
