The assembler works with hand tools and power tools to complete and assemble components in accordance with Flowco's specifications and standards. Primary duties involve threaded assembling but also include operating fabrication equipment to include but not limited to grinders, saws, drills, power tools, hand tools and crimple machines.

Works integrally with other employees and independently.

Principal Duties
  • Ability to efficiently operate various hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read Assembly blueprints is a plus.
  • Assemble and install a variety of metal including tubes and fittings.
  • Assists in performing and responding to work orders associated with building equipment.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet required time on jobs.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction; take responsibility for own actions; keep commitments and complete tasks on time.
  • Must be able to follow all EHSS policies and procedures.
  • Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Will be required to work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Will be required to keep shop and work area clean by performing daily housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience with threaded assemblies.
  • Experience working with and understanding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work instructions.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl to reach hard to get at work areas.
  • Must be able to work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments.
  • Must be able to lift 50 LBS.
  • Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
  • Experience using mega-press and threaded gas piping a plus.
  • Must be able to follow all basic skills, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
  • This is a “safety sensitive” position.

Employees must be able to bend a non-specific number of times per hour and twist their bodies from side to side. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; automated equipment, airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and moving fork trucks. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, hearing protection is required in designated areas where signage indicates it is mandatory.
