The monitors’ real-time alerts instantly inform a customer of water level trends, changes, and issues via SMS, email, and/or the Ranchbot cloud dashboard.
Ranchbot’s core focus is on water for Livestock and has high adoption in cattle and sheep grazing activities across the states. It is now expanding its core water monitoring offering to a range of its own and other third-party technology, including sensors for Rainfall, Flow, Pressure, Cameras, Pump Control, Trough monitors, and more.
The company’s software platform, My Ranchbot, gathers data from its on-ranch monitors and converts it to actionable insights that inform better ranch management decisions and actively engage the customer for better asset and resource utilization.
POSITION SUMMARYWe're looking for a Marketing Manager to own the voice and written word of the Ranchbot brand and be the voice of the rancher in our marketing team. This role is a key position in the development of the overall marketing strategy and content ideation. You'll be the lead writer and brand voice steward on the marketing team, crafting copy for campaigns, web, email, social, events, and sales enablement while also managing your own project pipeline from brief to delivery.
This is a player-coach role for a craftsperson: you'll spend most of your time writing and refining, but you'll also own the workflows, timelines, and cross-functional coordination that keep content moving. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe content marketing managers primary responsibility is to be the voice of the rancher at Ranchbot, ensuring that our brand is both presented consistently across all media and connects with ranchers.
Copywriting & Brand Voice (60%)- Own and evolve the Ranchbot brand voice. Codifying how we sound and ensuring consistency across all channels and teams
- Write compelling, conversion-oriented copy for paid campaigns (Meta, Google), email marketing, landing pages, and website content
- Develop long-form content including blog posts, case studies, customer stories, and thought leadership that resonates with ranchers and producers
- Craft campaign concepts, headlines, and messaging for seasonal promotions, product launches, and trade show activations.
- Translate technical product capabilities (satellite IoT, telemetry, water flow data) into plain-spoken benefits that matter to our customers
- Partner with creative/design on integrated campaigns, ensuring copy and visuals work as one
- Manage the content pipeline end-to-end: intake briefs, scope work, set timelines, and deliver on schedule
- Own content projects in ; maintaining briefs, approval tasks, file management, and status updates in line with team processes
- Coordinate deliverables across copy, creative, digital, and events teams, flagging dependencies and keeping stakeholders informed
- Manage relationships with freelance writers or contractors as content needs scale
- Maintain the content calendar and ensure lead times are respected across discipline teams
- Hands-on experience in ranching or livestock operations (Required).
