Campaign Manager Opportunity at Ronald McDonald House Dallas
The Ronald McDonald House Dallas (RMHD), under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Jill Cumnock, is seeking a campaign manager to help advance and strengthen its development program while fostering a strong culture of philanthropy. This role is central to advancing the organization's philanthropic priorities by securing the resources needed to sustain and grow services that keep families close to the care their children need.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and working closely with board leadership, a campaign committee, staff, and retained campaign counsel, the Campaign Manager will help to drive campaign strategy and disciplined execution across all phases of the campaign. This individual will manage timelines and benchmarks, coordinate campaign activities and events, lead the grant writing process, as well as the alignment of messaging, materials, and volunteer engagement efforts.
The Campaign Manager will be donor-facing as needed, supporting cultivation and solicitation efforts in partnership with leadership and volunteers, though this is not a primary frontline role. The position will focus on building and stewarding campaign relationships across major gifts, corporate and foundation support, and other campaign-related giving throughout the Dallas area, helping ensure a successful campaign and strong momentum beyond it.
EssentialJob Functions & Accountabilities:
- Manage day-to-day execution of the fundraising campaign
- Partner with Chief Development Officer, board, campaign leadership, and campaign counsel
- Track campaign timelines, benchmarks, and progress
- Coordinate campaign messaging, materials, and collateral
- Lead the campaign grant writing process, as well as the coordination of supplemental materials
- Support volunteer and board engagement in the campaign
- Participate in donor-facing activities as needed
- Ensure accurate campaign reporting and documentation
