- In-Kind Donations Management
- Recruit and train volunteer “Angels” to accompany Gabriel Project (GP) clients (”Moms”) through pregnancy and beyond.
- Equip Angels with the resources needed to support mothers in crisis.
- Provide ongoing opportunities for volunteer engagement and training to enhance the Angels’ abilities to meet client needs.
- Create and maintain community partnerships that provide client referrals and resources to support Gabriel Project s moms.
- Maintain and grow the Gabriel Project Ministry through strong relationships with “host” parishes.
- Help Gabriel Project Angels get the training, emotional, and spiritual support they need.
- Remain proactive about finding and addressing any volunteer concerns or needs for ongoing support or training.
- Work collaboratively with community partners, including the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth, to increase awareness of the ministry and provide needed resources for clients.
- Schedule and facilitate all GP Angel trainings.
- Work with your supervisor to identify areas of growth for Gabriel Project and develop an execution timeline and plan to accomplish that goal.
- Receive, process and document in-kind donations timely in Raiser’s Edge.
- Visit Parish sites and/or community partners to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Remain knowledgeable about data and use it efficiently to improve service to clients and the volunteer experience.
- Keep strong lines of communication open between yourself and your supervisor.
- Travel to partner sites in the community two to three times a month and quarterly to Wichita Falls.
- Must be available on occasional weekends and evenings.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
- 1-2 years’ experience working in program coordination.
- Willing to use own car for travel.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Full-Time hourly position with pay starting at $19 based on minimum requirements. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities.
