Job Summary

This role will support Tarrant County College’s (TCC) Foundation team in supporting donor stewardship, prospect research, event logistics, and departmental operations through hands‑on experience participating in donor relations, research activities, event support, and scholarship administration.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists with donor stewardship activities, including preparing acknowledgment letters, donor communications, and recognition materials
  • Supports prospect research efforts by gathering and organizing information on prospective donors, community partners, and alumni
  • Assists with planning and coordinating Foundation events, including donor receptions, scholarship ceremonies, and community engagement activities; collaborates with Foundation staff to support fundraising campaigns, outreach efforts, and special projects
  • Maintains donor and scholarship records within institutional databases and systems to ensure accuracy and completeness; conducts basic data entry, filing, and record maintenance activities in accordance with departmental procedures and confidentiality standards
  • Provides administrative support for scholarship processes, including application tracking, documentation review, creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), and communication support
  • Collaborates with Foundation staff to support fundraising campaigns, outreach efforts, and special projects
  • Participates in meetings, training sessions, and departmental activities to gain exposure to nonprofit development and advancement operations
  • Supports event logistics by coordinating materials, monitoring registrations, preparing event packets, and assisting with on‑site event execution
  • Provides customer service and responds to inquiries from donors, students, faculty, staff, and community members regarding Foundation activities and scholarship opportunities
  • Assists with inventory and preparation of promotional materials, donor gifts, and event supplies
Service Excellence
  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
  • Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
  • Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision

Works under the supervision of the assigned department leader

Required

Minimum Qualifications
  • Pursuing a master’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Public Relations, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and French, Spanish, Vietnamese, or other foreign language in both written and verbal communications
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of fundamental principles and practices related to nonprofit development and donor relations
  • Skilled in delivering high‑quality customer service and building effective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Skilled in using computer applications and enterprise systems, including the Microsoft Office suite and the Microsoft 365 platform
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly ensuring accurate and timely completion, while exhibiting strong attention to detail and organization
