Texas American Federation of Teachers (AFT) is seeking reliable Part-Time Organizers. A Part-Time Organizer (PTO) provides an important function to assist growing a self-sustaining local union. The PTO will implement a strategic organizing plan and work to meet goals set with local union leadership.
The PTO reports to the Texas AFT PTO Program Coordinator. Applicants should have knowledge of unions and a commitment to the labor movement. Some organizing experience is a plus but not required.
