Position: RN PRN (Hospice)

We are currently seeking a RN PRN in the Fort Worth area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end‑of‑life care.

Shift

Schedule:

PRN (Per Diem), work as needed; cover employee vacations; rotate weekend shifts with other RNs.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid state license
  • One year of nursing experience required
  • Hospice experience preferred, but not required
  • This role requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record as a condition of employment. Associates must comply with all state and federal driving regulations.
  • Associates in roles requiring driving are responsible for maintaining a valid and active driver’s license. Failure to maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to patient’s location
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must clear a criminal background check, physical and drug screening
  • You may be required to work outside of your regular hours depending on business needs

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform comprehensive nursing evaluations and after‑hour assessments on patients with a change in condition.
  • Assess for signs and symptoms of discomfort including presence of pain and take prompt and appropriate action.
  • Initiate plan of care as needed and appropriately supervise patient care after hours, provide appropriate nursing follow‑up to all patients, instruct caregivers in managing patient needs, and submit appropriate documentation within 24 hours of visit.
  • Coordinate all services provided to patients/families in all settings to ensure quality of care and services as well as appropriateness of care.
  • Follow the approved plan of care, modify as needed, and contact physician when appropriate.

Anticipated pay range

$32 - $40 USD
