* Summary:

** The Research Nurse Coordinator will serve as the primary clinical research lead embedded within multidisciplinary pediatric specialty clinics focused on genetic epilepsies and neurodevelopmental disorders. This role coordinates all research workflows associated with specialty clinic visits, including pre-visit preparation, research consent, protocol-driven assessments, and post-visit follow-up. The assessments conducted within this program are exceptional in depth and breadth, reflecting a cutting-edge model that tightly integrates advanced clinical care with high-impact translational research.

Advanced deep-phenotyping activities (e.g., neurophysiology, specialized neurological and digital assessments) are performed in close collaboration with academic research teams, who provide ongoing training and shared execution, making this position highly academic in nature and requiring continuous learning as novel methods are introduced. The Research Nurse leads research data capture, wearable deployment, remote assessments, and documentation while ensuring full compliance with IRB, sponsor, and institutional requirements.

Serving as the central operational link between families, clinicians, and researchers, this role enables seamless coordination of complex research activities alongside clinical care.
