Regional Reimbursement Nurse

Join Our Team as a Regional Reimbursement Nurse As a Regional Reimbursement Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness of assessments and documentation across multiple facilities. You’ll support facility staff, oversee MDS coordination, and contribute to quality outcomes that directly impact resident care.

Your Impact as a Regional Reimbursement Nurse
  • Support Facility Staff: Schedule residents for admission, annual, quarterly, Medicare, or change‑of‑condition assessments, ensuring clear communication with nursing and other departments.

  • Maintain Compliance: Ensure all assessments meet Federal and State regulations for comprehensive assessment (MDS) completion and coordination.

  • Oversee Documentation: Monitor MDS and care plan records for accuracy, completeness, and chronological order.

  • Facilitate Meetings: Attend Medicaid and ITTM meetings to gather information, share updates, and maintain clinical records and care plans.

  • Manage Care Plans: Perform updates as needed to reflect resident needs and regulatory standards.

  • Quality Reporting: Provide DONs, Administrators, and staff with Quality Indicator Reports.

  • Timely Submissions: Perform transmissions of MDS assessments on schedule.

  • Stay Current: Remain informed on industry changes through workshops and conferences.

  • Ancillary Management: Collect, manage, and report data to corporate billing personnel.
