RN Charge Nurse Fulltime Med Surg Inpatient Surgical GI GU

We’re looking for a qualified Registered Nurse Charge Nurse to join our Med Surg department working full‑time days.

Work location:

Texas Health Fort Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104

Work environment: BU GI GU Surgical Unit (Justin 4 – GI GU Surgical Unit)

Work hours:

Full‑time Dayshift, 36 hours weekly 7a‑7p – Rotating Weekends/Holidays

• RN staffing ratio: 1:4
• PCT staffing ratio: 1:12
• Positions require 12‑hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations.

• Nursing Diploma – Required
• Associate’s Degree Nursing – Required
• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing – Preferred
• 1 Year experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting – Required
• 2 Years experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting – Preferred
• RN – Registered Nurse upon hire – Required
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly – Required
