Occupational Health Nurse; PRN Security Clearance

Position: Occupational Health Nurse (PRN) with Security Clearance
Overview The Work:
The Occupational Health Nurse will be providing services offered under the client's medical office services, such as assessing patients' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, providing patient care-based treatment plans, Workers Compensation follow-ups, screenings, and administering immunizations. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

* Observe and evaluate a patient's physical status by taking vital signs, reviewing medical history and conducting a thorough assessment.

* Administering medications accurately and safely according to physicians' orders.

* Provide clear instructions and information to patients about their conditions, medications, and self-care practices.

* Maintain clear communication with patients.

* Working effectively with other healthcare professionals like doctors, therapists, and nursing assistants to coordinate patient care.
* Work with web-based computer systems, Medgate Occupational Health and Safety software, and Microsoft Office Suite software.

* Responding promptly to patient emergencies and providing necessary interventions.
* Maintaining detailed patient records, including observations, interventions, and progress updates.

* Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications - Here's What You Need:
* Graduate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.

* Be licensed to practice in Fort Worth, Texas

* Be certified as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist (CAOHC) Hearing Technician

* Be certified to administer CPR and use an AE

* Must be able to pass a Tier one background.

* Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment. Minimum

Skills:

* Must possess problem-solving skills.

* Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written

* Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.

* Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.

* Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.

* Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.

* Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Reports to:

Program Manager

Working Conditions:

* Professional hospital work setting.

* This is an on-call, part-time position.

* Ability to work Monday-Friday, 24 hours, 3 Shifts.

* Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for long periods of time.

* Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.

* Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.

* Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.

* Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.

* May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.

* May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.

* May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.

Pay Range USD $40.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.
