Responsibilities
:

• The Registered Nurse in the operating room provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• Positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Experience in surgical procedures across Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Education

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

Licensure/Certification

• Currently licensed in the state of TX.
• CPR required; advanced life support certification required.

Required Experience

• One-year experience in intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of the position.
