Registered Nurse (RN) GI GU Surgical Unit
Work location:
Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104
Work hours:
Part Time, (2) 12‑hour shifts 6:45 p‑7:15 a – rotating weekends/holidays. Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations.
- Self‑scheduling that helps with work/life balance and offers opportunities for education and career growth.
- Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team.
- Unit opens with 20 beds on August 10, expanding to 36 beds later in the year.
- The General Surgical Nurse provides care to a wide variety of postoperative patients, including complex gastro‑intestinal, urology, and colorectal surgeries, with an average length of stay of approximately five days.
- Opportunity to work on a brand‑new unit in the beautiful Justin Tower.
- MAGNET facility.
- Level I Trauma Center.
