Full-time Day Shift , 40 hours weekly 7a - 7p
Justin 4 - GI GU Surgical Unit
Justin 4 is a 36‑bed surgical unit that will care for colorectal, gastrointestinal, and urology surgery patients. On August 10, the unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year. Patients may be admitted pre‑ or post‑operatively, with an average length of stay of approximately five days.
RN staffing ratio: 1:4
PCT staffing ratio: 1:12
Positions require 12‑hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations.

The General Surgical Nurse provides care to a wide variety of post‑op patients including complex gastro‑intestinal, urology and colorectal surgeries.

Here’s What You Need Education- Associate's Degree Nursing (required)
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing (preferred)
- 2 Years experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e., Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) (required)
- RN – Registered Nurse (upon hire required)
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (required)
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast‑paced environment.
