Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Fort Worth, TX

Operating Room (Operating Room) Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a surgery-focused unit. The role supports high-volume general and neurological cases, including craniotomies, with additional orthopedic/robotic and other surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Schedule:
  
  Day shift coverage with varied 10-hour or 12-hour shifts; minimum of 40.0 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license only;
  Basic Life Support (BLS);
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); experience working in a hospital setting; neuro/neurological surgery experience; 2+ years of acute care operating room (OR) experience (not a surgery center); at least 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Robotic experience;
  Meditech experience.
• Responsibilities:
  Provide perioperative nursing care for high-volume general and neurological surgery cases, including craniotomies, along with additional surgical procedures such as orthopedic, robotic cases, and some urology and plastic procedures; support cardiovascular and transplant-related cases as performed on the unit; maintain professional appearance and adhere to unit dress and grooming policies, including nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines.
• Additional Information:
  Floating may be required as needed.
