Position: Oncology Clinical RN-Ft Worth, Tx

Job Overview

Full‑time Clinical Research Nurse (RN) position, Monday–Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm with no weekends, on‑call or major holidays.

Location:

Ft. Worth, TX. You will provide care for patients receiving cutting‑edge treatments within the oncology clinic and support clinical trials.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with physicians to identify and screen potential patients for clinical trial participation
  • Present trial concepts and details to oncology patients while conducting the informed consent process
  • Assess patients for adverse events and/or changes in condition
  • Provide staff and patient education regarding the management and administration of investigational product
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data entry to meet trial requirements
  • Serve as a liaison between clinic departments to ensure proper trial conduct
Qualifications

Level 1

  • Graduated from an accredited nursing education program (BSN preferred)
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of practice
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • OCN certification strongly preferred
  • CCRC or CCRP certification preferred
  • Oncology or research experience preferred

Level 2

  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required, preferably in oncology.

Level Sr

  • Minimum 7 years of nursing experience required, preferably in oncology.

Long‑Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)

The LTIP is an incentive program that typically vests over a three‑year period and is tied to both individual performance and the operational success of the organization. Awards are discretionary, reviewed and approved annually, and govern employment continuity through the award payment date.

Working Conditions

The work environment is an oncology clinic where employees may be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to the oncology/hematology setting.

Physical Requirements

Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extended periods; occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lb. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
